My Interview with Ruud Hein appeared at the Search Engine People today. Ruud asked me a few questions on my take of Company blogging practices. One question How would you explain the benefits of blogging to a client? stuck in my mind because I am continually having to explain just how important a blog is to your companies identity.
Here is my top 3 answers in response to Ruud’s question.
One, increase in traffic to your site which can equate to new customers.
Two, positioning your business as an authority in your business genre.
Three, an increase of links to your site which in turn may position you higher in the SERPS.
I am sure you could probably add more to this list and please I invite you to add your benefits.
One thing is 100% certain if you do not have a company blog you should seriously consider having one.
