BizMeds Recommends These Time Saving Tools

Lets face it with the amount of work load in a day you need some tools to automate your on-line business. Here at BizMeds we are no exception and are on the look out for any tools that can lighten the workload.

One tool we recommend that you use and hosted here at BizMeds is Xinu. How often have you tried to find a tool to measure important web stats?

Or, the stats are too confusing to sort out let alone find the information you need for easy viewing.

We tested the tool by running the BizMeds URL and the results Xinu came back with were dead on. In fact it showed us some validation errors with our stylesheet that slipped by us on our site launch.

We have found a cool tool and want to share with you this jewel called Monitor This. You can download a version to include on your site or use it here at BizMeds. I was looking for a tool to aid me in researching who is talking about me on the net and stumbled on to Monitor. Try it out and save yourself some time.

MonitorThis serves well at keeping track of your keywords. Type in your keyword and MonitorThis will track the keyword and display the aggragated feed content into an opml file to upload to your feed reader for easy viewing.

Xinu

Just type a URL into Xinu and sit back while it compiles data from all the usual suspects plus a few unusual ones. You'll get the site's Technorati, Alexa, and Google details. but Xinu also grabs data from Yahoo!, Windows Live Search, Lycos, Digg, Bloglines, Clipmarks, and a bunch of other services.

But Xinu doesn't stop there. It also gives you several rather useless statistics like the number of words and characters in a web site's name. Maybe they just wanted to have enough data to fill a whole page. Try it out and let us know what you think about this obsure little tool!

Monitor This

With MonitorThis you can subscribe to 22 different search engine feeds at the same time. Enter a search term and click the 'make monitor.opml' button to get a list of rss feeds in OPML format.
